The European Tchoukball Federation (ETBF) was created in 2014 and we are the continental federation in Europe for the sport of tchoukball, much like UEFA for football or European Athletics. As a continental federation recognised by our International Tchoukball Federation (FITB) our main role is to manage all European competitions, from the flagship European Tchoukball Championships with elite international teams to friendlies on the beaches of Europe. We also run the European Winner’s Cup which sees the top European club teams compete for honours every year.
We’re also here to help our member National Federations – we support applications to become full members of the FITB, work with the federations to communicate international rules and regulations and where funds permit, we travel and develop tchoukball across Europe in new areas.
The work of the Executive Committee (EC) of the ETBF is split into 4 key areas:
- our President and Vice-President who represent us at major events and lead the work of the EC
- our General Secretariat which manages the administrative and the operational side of the organisation
- our Treasurer who manages the finances of the ETBF
- our Technical Commission who implement the FITB rules and control all technical matters of our competitions
